At OTSCR, we understand that time is valuable when you are setting up a new computer. Our on-site computer setup service starts at $100 per hour, plus an additional $25 trip charge for locations within 10 miles of our office. We are here to make your life easier! We will come directly to your home or business and take care of everything for you. The following is a list of some of the services we offer:

• User Account Setup: We’ll help you create and manage user accounts, ensuring everyone who needs access has it, with appropriate security measures in place.
• Software Installation: We ensure programs such as Microsoft Office are installed and up-to-date, as well as any other software you would like for us to install.
• Driver Installation: We handle the technical details of installing and updating drivers, ensuring all hardware and peripherals work together.
• Local Backup: We set up local backup systems that store your data on external hard drives. Local backups are ideal for quick recovery and offline access.
• Cloud Backup: We offer cloud backup solutions for enhanced security and accessibility. Your data is stored in encrypted offsite locations, ensuring protection against local disasters and enabling access from anywhere with internet connectivity.
• Antivirus Software: We can install the anti-virus software of your choice on your new computer or recommend and install our top choice for you.
• Bloatware Removal: Bloatware can slow down your computer and be annoying at startup. We will remove these unwanted programs to improve performance.

In-Shop Computer Setup

At OTSCR, we offer an affordable solution to those who prefer to bring their computers to us. Typically, we can complete on-site computer setups within an hour, but certain setup services, such as Data Transfer, may take several hours to complete. In such cases, we recommend setting up a computer in the shop rather than on-site.

Specialized Configurations for Apple Products

We specialize in Apple product integration. We can link your MacBook, iPhone, and iPad together and create a seamless ecosystem of devices for you. We can also configure and set up iCloud so that all your devices can start syncing.

Exclusions in Our Setup Services

At OTSCR, our expertise is in setting up personal and small business computers. We do not offer services related to the setup of servers, NAS servers, or enterprise-level drives. Our services do not include configuring computers for events or setting up computer booths for expos. Additionally, we do not provide services for configuring mail servers or Outlook.
